Something's going on with my mystery snail and I want to know what...

One of my many golden mystery snails is sticking on the the side of the tank and has all these little black things to the side of it... I don't know any other way to explain it but I can't get pics because they're too small and my camera is literally aweful. I know it's alive because it is still sticking to the side of the tank. The black things aren't moving.

Does anyone know what these are? Please help my snail...

It could be a fungus. I would QT the snail to keep the potential fungus from infecting others. Try searching the net for snail parasites or snail fungus.
