they are currently in a 25 gallon tall tank. they roam every inch of that thing. we had floating plants for a while and they would make their little hikes up to the top to nibble on things

I currently have some cherries that I got from msjinkzd (absolutely great critters!). They're really active and fairly small at the moment. How long before they're mature enough to breed, and how long does it take them to take off on their own? I currently have the temp at 72deg, but plan to up it to about 78.
