Ok. I wasn't asking what part of Michigan.:rolleyes: LOL I didn't even know you were in Michigan. From now on just assume that whenever you get asked that question, by a person who doesn't know where you are located, that they are talking about the US and not a specific state. ;) :p:
 
Echinodorus tenellus will grow and is found in Michigan, and various Eleocharis (hairgrass) are native and worth a try too.

If you go with things that aren't necessarily native, but grow outside almost anywhere, Lysimachia nummularia is common in flowerbeds and yards too.
 
That's what I was thinking... (yes, if you live in Hawaii, Viet Nam, Thailand, Miami etc.).

Actually, there may be a moss or two that can adapt to tank life, but you may have to wait 'till late July to find any. All you can do is try 'em as you find 'em and see.
