My name is Chris... many years ago I was active on here... I was younger and attempting a business selling Tanganyikan Cichlids. Located in Cincinnati, I had a lot of really nice importers that I dealt with (Jeff Black, and Chip Spiegel) so I had an unusual and very lucky amount of availability. However, that waned over the years. Then I kept a few tanks for fun, and got into planted tanks... turns out I grow algae best and it annoys me so other than slow growing plants that can handle themselves, I don't mess with the high tech planted tanks much anymore.
However, through the planted tank experiments I began keeping shrimp... well I do grow those well.. it turns out the automatic water changing system I set up for cichlids... it handles shrimp really well too! (with the addition of an RO system and aging and heating the water). So now I enjoy different shrimp, crayfish, and snails... I love this hobby because there's always something new and fun just around the corner!
Anyway, I decided to come back to AC to see what was going on.. I couldn't log on or even remember what my old log on was... so I'm starting all over again.
