hey i just cycled my new 80 gallon tank. i have done my research and have come to the a proposed stocking. so here it is plaese tell me of any problems or additions that can be made.

1 Moonlight Gourami
1 Redtailed Shark
7 zebra danios
4 kuhli loaches
10 lemon tetras
6 corys

Is this overstocked suggestions welcome if something isnt going to work please say thanks Jimmy

I'd be tempted to go with an asian biotope by swapping the 6 cories with 4 zebra loaches (they get a bit bigger than cories, but that'll be fine in an 80 gallon), and swapping the 10 lemon tetras with 12 to 14 harlequin or scissortail rasboras. Other than that it looks good.

Enjoy it

might have a problem with the danio's nipping at the gourami but you never can tell. If the gourami is large enough from the beginning they may never get close enough. Otherwise you've got a pretty good list. kyle

Sounds like a nice setup to me. Moonlight gouramis can be a tad on the... peaceful/slow scale. As stated above, it may get nipped. Just something to watch out for is all. It may not happen at all.

Looks like a good stocking list. It seems lightly stocked to me, and all the levels of the aquarium are occupied. I've never had a zebra danio nipping problem before, so I think it should be okay.

IT looks good, and I would say you've got room to add a few more zebras. The more you have of them, the less likely they are to bohter the gourami.
