Shell dwelling cichlids are very small african cichlids that likes to make their homes in large shells. There are a couple of different shell dwellers, all are very territorial around their shell. Correction, only 1 pair for a 10 gallon tank.
My suggestions for a 10 gallon SA tank:
4 pgmy cories
6 cardinal or neon tetras
Not too much choice I guess since it's a 10 gallon, but those two species are from SA and pretty small yet interesting.
