Has anyone run across or tried using sand from YardRight. The website says it's tropical playsand from the caribbean and silica free. Anyone got an opinion or an experience. Also, if anyone knows where I can get southdown or any of the other names it goes by could you post a location. I live in the panhandle of Florida but make regular trips north to Ohio and South Carolina. Maybe we could put together a single thread with known locations so people know where to go to get it. it sure seems to be a popular subject to discuss.

the yardright that is not the silica sand is fine.
technically silica sand is fine to use also, but doesnt buffer the water or add calcium...

If anybody finds an outlet for any of the brands mentioned above that is located west of the Mississippi (I don't get to spell that word for real very often
