Couple weeks ago i bought a group of sparkling gouramis, about a week ago or maybe a tid longer i saw 2 of the gouramis doing the courting dance(wrapping around each other) and today i came home from work to find that the underside of a large-ish frogbit is covered in tiny fry. Wish i had a camera good enough to take a pic, just got excited and wanted to post lol

Set up a greenwater culture yesterday!

Lucky you!!! Good luck with them!!!

im hoping between the infusoria n little critters that grow in there and small golden pearls some may live. Unfortunately they are in my 110g with other fish, so im kinda expecting a lot will get eaten.....although daddy gourami is indeed protective, chasing off all other fish

is it possible to scoop them up and put them in another tank, maybe an empty QT tank?

could probably scoop them up, dont think itd be good to move them when they are super tiny, dont have qt tank setup at the moment either

Well i saw another gourami try to pick at a fry, so i went to petsmart real quick for a net breeder box. I wanted to setup a tank for only a pair of gouramis but i wasnt ready yet, still cool and im going to see if i can raise these fry. Moved the frogbit that has all the fry and a few extra into the box, along with a small marimo moss ball and a little bit of java moss i picked off the mat growing below it. Hopefully the little organisms growing in the moss will be enough to get them going for a few days, then i have golden pearls to feed
