Spastic little guppies

Are endlers common? I've not seen them in any LFS.

So this swimming at each other is mating behavior? Interesting. The three are all males. I didn't want babies and the canibalism that comes with them and I don't have another tank for babies. Its' only the two orange males that do this. The third guy, is half black one, is smaller than the other two. I am speculating that either he is younger and will reach a larger size or that he's just genetically smaller.

They have the "Feed me, feed me, feed me" routine down! They are little beggars!

Endlers are not often available at your fish store but are very easy to look after. They take the same care as guppies but like the water a few degrees warmer. They run about 2/3 the size of a guppy in their body size and generally do not have the large tails you see in guppies. As I said, if guppies move too much for you, you would not like endlers. They are frantic by comparison.
On a side note, all of my fish in all of my tanks have figured out the "feed me" routine. The worst pigs of the bunch are probably the rainbow cichlids, herotilapia multispinosa. They get a very generous daily feeding and grew 3 inches in the last 3 months but they will beg for more after eating 6 or 7 cichlid pellets each. They would be much too big for a 5 or 10 gallon tank though.
