SPAWNING RAMS!

The other Rams in the tank keep coming over to check them out. They are constantly chasing them, and an occasional stray cory, away.
 
It's ok. They'll get it right soon enough. How big are your rams?
 
They are small. Definitely not full grown. It very well could have been their first time.
 
Put a nice pot in there for them to have privacy, also do not worry they will be at it again soon and you will have more.
 
I hope so. I am a little devastated. I've never had fish spawn in one of my tanks before. It was quite exciting. I just checked and the eggs are all gone now. :cry:
 
oh and when they do, put a covering over your intake if you have a back filter so they babies do not get sucked up.
 
Why don't you just give them their own 10g? Or if space is a concern for you, how about give them some space with a divider in the tank that they're in?
 
I think I am going to get them their own 10G. That sounds like a great idea. :D
