mine just sprawn and they ate the eggs too, but i think i see some left, just hope there are some left. we are on the same page here.Tell me about it. I couldn't believe it. Too bad they ate the darn eggs.
awwwww that darn male, he is just out to have sex and does not want kids LOL!! I say once she lays and he fertilizes them take them out of the tank and put them back into the big tank again.Sometime today the eggs were eaten and they aren't protecting the nest any longer.
Maybe my male will try and woo one of the other females again.erv:
It's devastating losing another batch of eggs.....Maybe there is to much going on in there for them to feel safe. I have amassed most of the items needed to launch a new GBR only 20L, Filter, Heater, light, some wood. And I have a place for it in my bedroom. I just need to get the tank some eco-complete and plants. And let the cycle begin. :woot:
Unless you bought specifically parent raised rams, the chances are that your rams will never raise their own young. Most Rams have been artificially raised for generations, they have lost the knowledge of how to raise their own young... They are brought up in mass fish farms - their parenting instincts are long gone.
