This is my 10 gallon tank normally used for QT/Hospital purposes but right now I am going to try and spawn my gold barbs in it. The airline feeds my little sponge filter and it has a spawning mop + a heater. Will this be sufficient?

Sorry for the blurry picture except my lighting is not that great so I had to keep the shutter open for a long time and I don't have my tripod here at the moment.

Edit: I have one more plastic plant that I normally use to make the fish feel safe in this hospital tank. Should I add that also or just leave the spawning mop?

The water is old water from my main tank's water changes not to stress the fish with a pH of 7.1. I've read that barbs prefer acidic water so I hope they will spawn in this setup. I am going to try the trick of raising the temperature to 80* gradually once I get the female confortable in that tank and start conditioning her + the male in the community tank with lots of bloodworms 4-6 times per day for the next 3 days. Then add the male to the spawning tank and hope for the best.

Sounds fine to me... I hatch eggs and raise fry in my dual purpose 10g quarantine tank. Yep, add the plastic plant, it can't hurt. Only thing that I might suggest is a PVC elbow or two, or a short piece of tube for them to hide within. Even some small teracotta pots would do fine.
