Drekkyk if you want a good barb cleanup crew go with Rosy Barbs. These fish are the biggest pigs I have ever owned (Bigger Pigs than my Goldfish). They will go through your substrate and cleanup any food that lands there. Since I got them, I don't see a single strand of hair algae on any of my plants. They dwell mostly in the lower/middle areas of the tank and make a nice colorful display. The alpha Rosy Barb does duke it out with the alpha Tiger Barb but other than that, these fish are very docile.

Corys are great but bristlenose will not take any attitude even from 7" discus. They stay small and don't suffer from pleco "poopitis".
