Spider Crab!

I want to have a spider crab. I know that it isn't possible but it doesn't stop me from thininking about it. I did see a pic of one in an aquarium, alough I don't think it would be possible to keep one for a person of normal means. There is a cool pic on this site halfway down. I would use it as an avatar but I don't want to violate any copyright laws.

I can't imagine a crab that is 13 ft across. I wonder how fast it moves?

Has anyone ever seen one in a public aquarium?

I see them all over the place just a few hundred yards away from my house. They are pests of the sea and a lobster man's worst enemy.

Not a fan of spiders and that crab resembles one too much for me.

have you seen the ones that are 13 ft across? I am taking about the japanese spider crabs in particular. Do you see those near your house?

I'm not a big fan of spiders, really indifferent to them.
I was thinking of gigantic ones in huge aquariums. Maybe a few that are 10ft across in a dolphin show size tank.

Hey funny that you are talking about Japanese spider crabs, right now I'm in Atlanta GA and just visited the Aquarium and all I can say is WOW, but back to the crabs, they have a spider crab display and just above the display there is a plaque which states that these crabs can get as big as a car. And if you are thinking about keeping these crabs they are a cold water species very cold around 60 degrees.
