Spiders..UGH!!!

The thing that I hate finding are these guys.

What is that? Generally, I don't mind bugs. I don't like them in my house. I like them outside where they belong :) I don't even mind having them on me, as long as I know they are there. The spider freakout when it was on your arm I totally understand! The place I used to live had a lot of terrestrial isopods in the laundry room. They were nice and harmless. Spiders I don't mind so much because they really are beneficial. Unless my house was absolutely infested with them, I really can't understand wanting to fumigate though... I mean hmmm.. a few spiders or toxic chemicals all over everything in your house????

Really...hmm you know, sometimes I have to say I'm pretty grateful for our winters and weeks of -30 and below winters... There aren't any of those here as far as I know. No cockroaches either.

Awww...you're really missing out. These guys are fast as heck and when you squish them all there little legs keep twitching for a few minutes.

OH GAH! That pic of the cricket is too much------here is WNC they have "camel back crickets" and they totally look like spiders (daddy long legs on steroids) and are soooo creepy!

being outside so much, my logic is that if its in my clothes, and its tickling me, its probably not a hair :D

phobias are all in your head, i would much rather hold my arrow crab than a daddy long legs. even tho the arrow is bigger, faster, and pricklier, just the fact that its a crab makes me ok with it

and i always use to pick up horseshoe crabs at the beach, until i learned that they were more related to mites and ticks than actual crabs. now i wouldn't be paid to touch one...

Well, today, sitting in the same spot, with a short sleeve shirt on I feel something crawling around my arm pit stomach area, so I look thinking it was a hair caught in my shirt and low and behold it was a small spider. After about strangling myslef trying to kill the spider and take my shirt off at the same time, I finally killed it.

maybe there's a nest in the chair? or perhaps inside a pillow.
