Spixi Eggs!

Plaster of Paris is basically the same thing that you buy at the fish stores as a "weekend feeder", but it's just the white chalky stuff. You can get it at Home Depot (I forget the exact brand that is recommended). You buy it as a mix, then make the pucks yourself (or whatever shape you want), dry it out, then plop it in the tank. It's just a water conditioner/buffer.

Hey Jack, I think that Lupin is talking about like weekend feeders. The white chalky ones, that is what I use anyway. They are made with plaster of paris.

the vacation feeders will serve the same purpose but I think Lupin was suggesting that making your own will save you cash in the long run. Besides, you can customize the ingredients going into it.

edit: lol this is what happens with rapid fire replies - overlapping info

Everyone got it. My snails absolutely love the plaster of Paris pucks. I had shelled out more pucks this week so far as they are gnawing on them quicker than I had expected. Also, these pucks actually clarify the water. I do not know if this is coincidence or not but the water looks clearer than before whenever I add Tums just for the fun of it.
