Ok ok not really but she did abuse my tank. I get home last night and Im like uh oh I smell melafix. So I ask her what happened and she say my carpinte freaked out and ran into a rock so he has a few scales missing off his head. I look at that tank and its a little cloudy? I was like how much did you add. She says oh I read the bottle and just added two spoonfulls. I was like what size spoonfull? She says the big metal one. I said no its supposed to be a teaspoon not a table spoon (I use melafix pond). Now im thinking oh crap how long ago and shes says about an hour. Me: Phewwww ok still time to save the bio filter. Needless to say I did an unexpected 90% water change last night but I didnt have any ammonia so im good luckily. I couldnt be mad cause she was trying to help which is good cause the more she likes the fish the easier it is to convince to get more. So the moral is if your spouse doesnt know what there doing with fish lock up the meds lol.

yeah, always teach you girl about your beasts. I had an icident a while back with a girlfriend and a mouse that's too horrible to metion...

Don't let them near nets if you have catfish either. My hubby tried to catch one of my pictus in a plastic container like I asked, got frustrated and decided if HE used the net it wouldn't get stuck (He thinks he is special that way, normal rules don't always apply to him :) ) sure enough we spent the next twenty minutes trying to cut the net off the catfish's fins and still had to leave a piece on that took over a week to fall off. I'm still irritated by that incident! :)
