RedKahuna,

How often do you have Cories for sale? I'm not ready yet- not even half way through cycled so can't take any yet- but would love to get some.

Especially at those prices! It's cheaper to buy from you- (and all the positive praise you're getting) despite shipping costs than it would be for me to buy local (and I've only read bad things about my LFS- so I'd much rather buy from you for that reason).

Do you expect to still be selling some in 2 or 3 weeks time? Or are the stocks running low?

how did you get eggs already? he sent you adults already pregnant? how were they laid? are they isolated from community fish? what do you do to have them hatch? curious cuz I like to some day breed my albinos. thx sushiray

*shrug* I didn't do any of the things you're "supposed" to do to get cories to spawn, they just did. There are 4 aeneus cories from redkahuna (it was one of the albinos & one of the greens that spawned), they're in with 3 peppered cories and 12 danios.

I have a whole seperate thread about what to do with the eggs (I'm learning too!) if you check in the catfish section. :)

There atre a few straglers of others. Steve

forgot to mention steve, I bought a dozen, you gave me a baker's dozen, pleasant surprise. thks again. also 1 bag had a medium snail & it looked like it laid a slime patch (eggs I presume). I didn't put in my tank, didn't know if it would multiply & become a nuisance, unless you say this is a "good" snail to keep. thks sushiray

THROW THAT SNAIL OUT LOL I sent you 2 month olds. Most cories are around 4-6 months old when I ship according to species. At 6 months they are sexually active. When looking down on the fish Males look like speed boats and females like trawlers, others actually look different between sexes. The aeneus cories are very easy to bredand mine readily do in the community tanks.

Incidentally, do you sell any other fish too? Or are you strictly into Corys?

I pretty much have gotten rid of all others I have a swordtail guppy I am playing with and a Pintail Platy. I am also trying to breed some loaches. But the bulk are cories and I change them around also.

Any success with breeding the loaches? I'm interested in either Kuhli or Horsefaced loaches? As with the Cory catfish I'm a few weeks away from being able to order them- but if you will have any at that time- and you could ship them with Corydoras I'd be interested.

longfin albino paleateus $4.00

Any pics? I'm intruiged. :D

(also my husband likes the cories a lot and I want to convince him I should get another tank for cories *shifyeyes*)
