Spring Pond Pics..

Do you have any pictures of your pond? I'd love to see them, while we wait for other peoples pictures (mine included) as its not as warm in the rest of the US as it is in Florida! 
Well...LOL. Its not THAT cold here, but you get the picture.
Might as well tease you, here in SE Michigan it was 70*F today! I loved it!!
...and then I get the call from home saying that it was 84 degrees today and they had the AC on!

Try miracid,
Most ferns come from environments with acidic soil and if you treat them like an azalea they should do fine. Also compost or manure tea should give them a really good boost in the Spring. You could also use a pin straw mulch that will really help them out as well.

Pond Pictures
This pond is a little bigger than what I have in my backyard but we're still proud of it. This is a 3 acre pond we constructed in the Eastern Townships of Quebec, Canada. I might never make the kind of money the people paid us to build it have but it was a fun project.
The top four pictures are the fall work in progress and the bottom picture is once spring starts to get the water level up.

That's not a pond, it's a private lake!
Still, I'm now resolved to dive (figuratively speaking) in and revive my pond next week during spring break.

I call it a private lake too DEmigh...but they wanted us to call it a "pond" probably so they could bowl people over when they non-chalantly invited guests to go "take a peek at the wee pond in the backyard"
I'd do work on my pond "spring break week" (as college kids refer to it) but I will be going on a cruise that week!
