I'd tack cloth again before poly-ing.
Foam brush for the poly. Makes it easy to flow it on. Might want an assortment of them...or at least say a 2" and a 1/2".
You can keep them wet between coats in a plastic bag...or just toss and get a new one for each coat.
I like the 220 scotchbrite pads.
