More good suggestions, Thanks folks!...I did manage to get some scrap wood at my parents that evening as I was stuck there after riding in with them to the city to buy a towel. I got the kuhlis and synos moved and am going to move the betta group today.
I'll leave the BN group in the 10 gal for now.
The roof tile suggestion sounds really good and maybe I'll try for that later.
I'm going to have enough tanks to move fish around fairly easily when I replace my ten with a leaking 20 I fixed up. Thing is, the kuhlis obviously move very poorly even if I have tank space to move them to...Maybe next time I'll try and leave a half inch in there to keep them moist and then see if I can lift the tank off with the kuhlis inside.
