star enemies?

do starfish have any enemies? i'm asking because i've had 4 or 5 small ( pencil eraser to shirt button size ) stars that were hitchhikers. i added a coral banded shrimp, and the stars seem to have dissapeared. did he do it?

Sure do. Harlequin Shrimp, some wrasses, goatfish I think, butterflies, filefish, boxfish, puffers....and I'd not put it past a hungry coral banded.

man, i hope so! but i doubt it... we were really gettin' a kick out of watching the bigger one grow!

My trigger use to pick my chocolate chip up and carry him around the tank. I had to remove the starfish...I can't imagine that it was fun for him.
