Star Polyp question?

I got a nice rock covered in Star Polyps 2 days ago. I put it in my tank and it has not opened up yet. Is this normal. My water is currently:
1.022 salinity
8.0 ph
0 ammonia
0 nitrites
0 nitrates
76 temp
500 calcium
7 dkh alkalinity

I am using 2 150 watt MH lights plus power compacts

Totally normal. They often stay shut for several days after a major change.
