My first thoughts were choriaster granulatus...commonly called doughboy star....however, not so sure...would need a clear pic to get specific really.

Edit...scratch that....its not....clearer pic if possible...

ok mate i'll try and get a better pic....im using my phone and the camera aint the best....cheers :)

went to my LFS today and the girl in there said it could be some sort of sand dollar....could this be it?....just worried it might start doing some damage although it doesnt seem to be going near any corals.....im adding a hang on refugium to my system in the next couple of weeks getting one from MJ aquatics on ebay...so if i can catch it then i'll probably put it in there.

doesn't look like a sand-dollar to me, as they are more closely related to urchins.
Would also like a clearer pic :P

ive been looking on the net and saw a starfish that looks likes it.
Its called the bat starfish..Asterina miniata.....could this be it?
The ones ive seen are much bigger than mine but could it be a juvenille?
Anyhow i'll keep looking to see if theres any more like it.
Can't get another pic at the moment because the little buggers hiding in the rocks somewhere.
