I don't sell these fish anymore, they are a little too expensive for me to sell. I used to get them from a good friend who breeds them and he doesn't have any problems selling them. Why are you so angry anyway? I would think that you have been selling a great number of fish, and wouldn't be bothered with a couple of comments from people in this forum. We didn't post anything rude on your sale thread.

Melli let me first say that I'm not mad at you but.......

you evidentally had a problem with me a couple months ago when you
made comments about me selling fish for less then you were. Now you
are making comments about me (us) selling fish for too much. And I
thought maybe you could realize that this is quite contradictive besides
the fact that some of the fish you've been selling here on AC were actually
spawned by Dscichlids and shipped to Ohio via airport to airport in large
quantities. I even remember people saying they would rather pay more for
your fish then to buy from a jerk like me which is so funny since I'm not
paying the "middleman" mark up (like you are) so I can easily offer my plecos
at a better price (any day). Whenever I do get a killer deal from a private
breeder on a particular species, I always pass on a lower price to the general
hobbyist with the only possible exception being rare or hard to find species.
And anything that I spawn myself, I offer for less then market value. People
many times don't stop to consider the quality of the fish they may be buying
either and are only looking at numbers on a price list or forum topic. Then
once price and quality have been taken into consideration, one has to think
about the reliability of the seller to ship the fish to the buyer (alive) without
exposing them to high levels of ammonia during transportation, in which case,
the fish will arrive alive simply to perish a week or month later from the
exposure to a toxic dose of ammonia in the shipping bags.

Last you did post comments on my for sale posts previously which I did find
offensive. You say that people shouldn't be bothered by a couple posts on this
forum but I believe that your comments were purposely made to manipulate
people to sway some sales in your direction. I really don't care what people
think as long as we are honestly comparing apples to apples and not apples to
oranges like you posting about L183 market prices and conveniently forgetting
to mention the size of the fish being offered for sale. In my opinion that was
completely unfair and also rather deceptive. Honestly is still the best policy
and please remember if you really think I'm a jerk, then consider that you're
actions (or posts) are probably the principle reason of my reaction toward you.

all i have done is try to help you out on selling fish on this forum.

i think that Jackster put this very well.

and if anybody thinks that im to high on my prices then they dont have to buy them from and maybe try and find them from someone else.

I'm really sorry that you think that Jackster. I have not and do not think you are a jerk. Everyone's just trying to get a fair price. After reading through, I do realize that I offended you by saying the $50 is overpriced. It really was not personal or intentional, I didnt even realize who the seller was at that time. Once again, I was just trying to clarify that you cannot purchase these amazing fish at $10 - $15 each.

I do not need to sway sales my way, seeing how I do not sell these fish anyway. I agree that some of my fish are from another breeder, I mainly breed bristlenoses including L144s. I am not a store, and do not run a fish breeding business. I mainly only sell at a few forums and have always enjoyed being in AC and never felt like I had to hold back a comment just because it is something jackster or dscichlid posted.

That said, I sincerely apologize (I think I have said it about a gazillion times) for stating that the price is high. I did not mean to stop your sales and certainly did not think I had that much power in this forum. I will not continue arguing about this because it is a little silly and ridiculous. I enjoy being in this forum and yakking with people who have a similar interest. Selling fish is not my full time job - I leave it to all you experts out there.
