Starry night reed frogs

So.. I just picked up my pair of Starry Night Reed Frogs today. The male is a bit thin, but he appears to be otherwise healthy. I will post some pics of the pair when I return on Saturday.

Does anyone know if these guys have been bred in captivity before? Once my cage finished settling in I would like to see if I can't get the frogs to breed...
 
I don't think you sent me enough luck schizo... I checked on my frogs this morning when I misted the tank at approximately 0530 and they both seemed to be doing okay (they were sleeping). I got a call from my wife at about 1000am saying that they had both drowned..... So, no froglets anytime soon. bummer :(
 
How much water did you have in the tank? Any way for them to get out of the water?
Did you QT them before you threw them into the viv? Were they WC or CB?
Frogs dont drown often
 
Water is about... 4" deep. There are at least 4 places for the frogs to "escape" the water, they are all spread across the back of the tank (ie, they arent all on one side or something). I did not QT due to them being the only critters above the water line in my tank. I got them ordered through a good buddy who owns a reptile shop here in town so they come from a good supplier, but yeah they were still WC (He doesn't have any CB on his lists, otherwise I would have snagged some of those). I suppose the good news is because they didn't even make it 24hrs the supplier will refund my money...
Perhaps now I will re-do my tank, I have been thinking of creating a waterfall down the back wall instead of pumping it across the water portion
 
i would line all the sids with a branch so they can at least get out of the water, if you plan to get more anyways. even the front, right on the water line
 
I'll have to post another picture... Yeah, I got a branch and a vine that come out to the front of the tank, sticks on the far right corner, a "stump" in the middle rear, and two piece of great stuff "shoreline" on the rear as well..
