150w metal halide pendant, with soil master select.

Varius plants will adjust in the coming week: anubias, needle leaf java fern, fisseden, Blyxa japonica, Ludwigia arcuata, green and red crypts

Stock: 8 halquin raboras, 3 neons, 9 pygmy cories, 6 cory meta, 4 cory false julies, 2 bristlenose plecos

I'm struggling with the hardscape, I wanted a pop out type deal but everytime I arrange it I want it to look open spaced. Kinda loss any suggestions anyone? I have rocks and driftwood spare still

Find rocks, or stack rocks, to add more height to your hardscape. Also, that tank looks like it would do great with a arge piece of driftwood. Also, a background will help greatly.

YEAP bristlenoses NEED that WOOD, they feed off of it.

Also maybe add 3 or 4 neons

cool thanks all, I will add more rocks and driftwood. I had a school of 6 neons/cardinals but not all made the move.

I do see driftwood on the right but definatley a large 'branchy' peice would look awesome, but that does look great!

I agree with one else's responses. Your tank looks great so far, but you should def. word on the hard scape more because those plants are going to cover it all up once they grow out. If you don't want to fill out the tank too much with big rocks you could arrange some thinner pieces of wood into a design that appeals to you.

added a grayish background, might go black haven't decided yet. Added a large piece of driftwood, kinda covers my intake so it works for now. I'm at 2bps for co2 and have started dosing also. Will update in a week or so :thm:

The rock on the left & wood on the right are battling for attention. The left side could be a nano-mountain set up, whereas the right side is calling for more big pieces of wood laid on the diagonal or horizontal.

I like both, but the upper part of you're tank is left empty. Again, works cool if you're going for that overall mountain/sky look.
