Im wanting to start a salt water tank in a W30 in, H 22 1/2in.,D 1ft. Ive posted before but my comp crashed and i couldn't get on for awhile. Im not sure how many gallons it is i was told it was a 50 but it doesn't look it. At first I wa sthinking I'd just put in Agri sand and a LR to let it mature is That Correct? I wanted to know if i could maybe Quarintine it some how or something to see if it had bristle worms on it or anything else. Because my Bf got a live rock once and it had bristle worms all in it after a day or more now his tank is infested with them. I don't want that happening to me so what should i do?

and can someone tell me the in gallons how big this tank is. w 30in h22 1/2 in, d 1ft. and is it alright if i convert it to a sw originally i keept two goldfish in it.

even if they get so bad they infest the sand?

bristle worms are good for your tank, they don't infest it. they will be in your sand and in your rock. when you are starting a tank you might see a population explosion of worms or brittle stars but they will even themselves out to the available food.
they are part of your cleanup crew and are one of the things we buy "live" rock for.
