I didn't really like the look and feel of my 55g the past few arrangements so I'm here to ask you guys a few q's.

First of all, the stocking. Before I've had rams, swordies, platys, serpaes and then some huge disaster struck and the water got all cloudy which killed all of the fish. THis time, I'm looking for similar fish of the same species and maybe give that a try. It's a planted tank, I've got 260 watts over this baby, dosed with liquid ferts. I'm kind of a beginner aquascaper so I'd like some help in that area as well. Maybe I should start a journal or such a thing so you guys could help me along the way? I know this is kind of a general topic but what concerns me the most about the tank is the fish, and the look. I've had it since Decemer of 08. Can't wait to hear some input, thank you.

I used water stabilizer and changed about 75 percent of the water everyday, but by then it was too late and i had no where else to put the fish earlier. It's all clear now, thank god.

What I'm asking, is do you know what caused the problem, and are you certain that you fixed it? It would suck to restock the tank, and have everything die.

yeah, all of the plants in there didn't have enough oxygen, so i bought a pump and a bubbler and turned it on following putting stabilizer and everything was fine. I'm positive i fixed it because it happend a while ago, and no fish have died since then :]

my apologies its a 2x65 watt [130 total] not 260.

im not running pressurized co2 but liquid ferts.

i think ill start a thread in the gallery on my progress with it which will start later on today
