Starting Over...

ANY type of plants? I was leaning toward cabomba, but I heard that it's fragile...

I've got Cabomba in all my tanks and it does great. I've even had to prune it in the guppy tank that only has 1.3 WPG.

It's fine with gentle fish, but with bigger, more boisterous fish, it can get messy. The needles, or leaves can make a mess of a filter when the big guys go crashing through it.

The neons play in it all the time and they don't mess it up.

The "reddish" version seems to grow faster than the greenish one in my tanks ...

My boesmani probably eat the green one though ...
