wow...nice to see someone that doesn't put every penny they got into aquatics. No offence to those who do, i just might be one of those people if i could but i have a few other hobbys as well, all of which can run up a bunch of cash. I have looked into a few things today, primarily price for live rock and the cheapest i see it is $8/lb. and if i need minimum 1.5/lbs per Gal then thats gonna put me over a grand for a 100 gal. That kind of money is hard to work up for me in a short period of time considering ill have to get the tank and the stand first, plus all the essentials, and my other hobbies would have to be put aside. I think i might just use my 35 to start. considering live rock will be $500 to start but i have most the essentials for it. As much as i would love to do a 100 Gal tank, im not too sure i can afford the start up fee. I don't have that kind of money that easy and if i did i have other priorities.
I think i am going to focus on my 35 Gal. I would like to build a new stand for it though...the one its on ain't much to speak of.
