very nice tank and great looking plants!

I'm no aquascaping guru (your tank looks much nicer than mine) but here's my input:

The roots of the e.tenellus is a little distracting, I'd replace it with something smaller or finer leaved like glosso, dwarf harigrass, or hemianthus callitrichoides if you can find it.

A little trimming of the e.stellata towards the back right side to provide more of a slope with the highest point above the l. glandulosa would shift more attention to the glandulosa.

Cool. Thanks. I'll try your suggestion and see if I can trim, or move the Stellata around a bit after this week's water change.

Your right. The E. Tenellus is not the grassy plant that I want. I want Dwarf Hairgrass instead. First though, I'm dealing with a slight problem with a new type of algae, which I'm trying to eradicate from the substrate. Once that's cleared up, I'll remove the E. Tenellus and plant Dwarf H/G instead.

Very nice tank, I wish mine was like that!
Do you use CO2, how big is your tank and what type of lighting do you have?

z71silverado98, phanmc is correct. The L. Glandulosa is the dark red plant.

Funny, when I bought the first bunch from the lfs, it didn't look like the plant you see above. It was reddish on the top, and the bottom of the leaves were green.

As you can see, the plant above is blood red, even underneath the leaf. You won't regret getting it. When there's a deficiency, she's the first plant to show it.

RobertA, I have two 55 w cf over a 29 gallon tank. I use pressurized co2. Co2 should be about 30-35 ppm. The plants just take off. I constantly prune. Can you believe that I had green water a week ago? I overdosed on K.

Thanks for the compliment guys.

P.S. Here's a picture of it up close

I had some glandulosa shipped to me about a month ago. They lost a fair amount of their leaves and are just beginning to take off. Yours look top notch Aquabum. I hope mine end up looking that way. I kind of like the stellata too.

Thanks reiverix.

I'm sure that they'll prosper in your tank too.

I was having the same problem in the beginning (the leaves falling off and curling), but now she's much better since I've been dosing Ca.

What a gorgeous tank! That does not look like glandulosa to me, but more like Alternanthera lilacina. L. glandulosa is more of a deep purple and tou do not usually see the veins in the leaves.

I love your tank. You should post your pictures in my forum. I know my members would love to see it.
