Hey All,

My husband and I are wanting to start a tank with nothing by sterbai cory cats in them. I was wanting to know what kind of plants do you think would do good in a 30( maybe larger) gallon tank for these sterbai to have some hiding spots to possibly breed!!

Any advice or suggestions are always welcomed!!

Thanks in advance gang!

Krista

Java moss and fern. Any broad leaf plant. Really any plant. Be sure the substrate is smooth and rounded not sharp and pointy dont want to hurt there Barbels. I prefer sand and natural river pea gravel. My sterbia lay all there eggs on the tank glass. Rarely if ever in the plants. Other cories I have lay in the moss, fern, on the plants, glass, I have a set of bronze that lay on slate like angelfish. They clean it if its good they lay there in my experience.

THANK YOU REDKAHUNA

I appreciate your thoughts and experience on this. I think I was more wanting to plants so they could hide and possible the babies would have a better chance at surviving.

I am very excited and hope much success!!

Again Thank You!!!
