A year later, this still depresses the hell out of me. And I never knew the man personally. I almost skipped work the day it happened. I felt so sad and just...rotten. If I feel like this, I can only imagine what his family is going through. Rest in peace Steve. You changed the world more than you'll ever know. 
Steve was just such a great person. i still feel so sad by his death. What celebrity could still make you feel bad after a year it is still such an unbelievable thing.
funny how we can miss someone we never met. he was an example of the purest of the good people. makes me mad why he had to die and not a scum bag like a murderer instead. his cute little girl is so much like him, even looks like him. it's great they are keeping the zoo and his legacy in full steam ahead.
