Stink free microworm culture?

I am in search of the holy grail. A microworm culture that doesn't stink.

Over the years from reading online, some people claim it. But is it true? Do u have a idea that makes it stink free? I assume u can use the same thing for walter and banana worms?

the stink comes from not maintaining a culture properly. the medium needs to be refreshed on a regular basis. when i was culturing microworms i'd use all bran cereal with a little yeast and refresh it about every two weeks. kept three cultures right next to my tanks in the kitchen and they never stunk.

Mines was fresh for sure. Just oatmeal and yeast. By the second day its starting to get a bit funky. By the end of the week its putrid. Every time I would lift the lid, my room would stink.

I'm not quite sure if there's such a thing as "stink-free" microworm cultures. The worms themselves, are not the reasonings for the odor. I think it's the food/base. I usually just left my culture in the garage or outside (the worms can survive freezing temperatures) and usually just swiped whatever I needed. But the odor - I remember it; such is the reason why I no longer keep microworms.

i use whole grain breads. they have mild odor but only when opened

my friends brother has like, 15 cultures stacked on top of each other, hes in college and no longer has anything that eats them. so they just sit there for god knows how long. his room his room is the most rank disgusting thing i have ever smelt. i gagged on the air. you can TASTE IT

I've used potato flakes and yeast, and it doesn't stink if maintained properly (i.e. start a fresh container at least once a month).

The cultures I just got from Kyryah don't stink, they smell like bread dough which I think is kinda nice.
