I have a 15g tank. Currently, it holds 10 cardinal tetras, 2 green neons that were sold to me as cardinal tetras... grrr..., and a blue ram. (I started with 6, but it didn't look that great and all their colors improved when I added more.)

I have 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, and had 25 nitrate after not changing water for two weeks... but I usually do a 50% water change once a week. The tank has lots of plants (anubias, java moss, tall african water ferns, and java fern.) There is a sponge filter and a hob filter rated at 90 gph.

I'm guessing I'm probably pushin' the limits already. I'd really like some pygmy cories or maybe a shrimp or two to help clean up missed food etc... Is there any room? Also, I worry about the ram pestering them. He's fine with the tetras.

Thanks!

If it were my tank...I'd go for about 4 pygmy cories...the ram shouldn't bug them...then just keep up with the water changes...

The ram might actually pick on the cories in such a small tank because both inhabit the bottom area and rams can be territorial.
