I have a 180 gallon fish only tank and am in the process of stocking it. Here's what I have so far:

1 Yellow Tang (~4")
1 Naso Tang (~5")
2 Maroon Clowns (~1-2")
1 Long-Horned Cowfish (~4")
1 Long-Nose Bird Wrasse (~5")
1 White-Spotted Puffer (~2.5")
3 Small Green Chromis

I would really like to add three additional fish to the mix: a Clown Trigger, a Powder Blue Tang, and a Magnificent Foxface.

Will this be too much of a load on the system? I am willing to part with the chromis and one of the clowns if necessary.

Thanks. I had heard that about them, and especially don't want to aggravate the cowfish (although there appears to be some sentiment on the boards that the "toxin" issue may be a bit overblown). I did find a gorgeous Humuhumu this weekend and added that to the mix. It doesn't appear to bother anyone, although he is much smaller than both the cowfish and the Naso tang.

hey

What about Harlequin Tuskfish? awesome fish not agressive.. it would add lots of color to that already great looking community you got going there . I totally agree with you on the foxface great choice.

good suggestion

I haven't seen one of the Harlequin Tuskfish around here recently - I'll have to keep an eye out. The three stores closest to my house are relatively small, so I have to be on the ball.

The cowfish is a gamble. A time bomb, really.
