Stocking 25 Gallon, Suggestions?

25 gallon tank
weekly 25% water changes
-8 lemon tetra (1.4 inches)
-6 albino cory's (2 inches)
-1 pitbull pleco (2.4 inche)
-1 platy (2.4 inch)
-1 swordtail (4.7 inch)

OR

-5 lemon tetra (1.4 inch)
-6 albino cory's (2 inch)
-1 pitbull pleco (2.4 inch)
-3 platy's (2 female 1 male) (2.4 inch)
-1 sword


WHICH ONE SOUNDS BETTER? or none??????????
 
Your second selection looks better in my opinion, Only because your first selection looks a bit much for a 25 gallon. just the 8 tetras and the 6 corys is quite a bit. I would go with the second group.

Just a thought, but you could do a shell-dweller tank. These are dwarf cichlid and neat little guys. They have a nickname of firecrackers with fins :) . You could have 4-6 of these guys.

It's just a thought, go with the fish you like. ;)
 
I would skip the neons (just because they like to be in groups of five or more) and skip the sword, they seem to do better in groups too and can be a bit aggressive.

none of the 2 selections has neons in it.
 
I have finally decided about my stocking the 25 gallon cept for one thing:

-5 lemon tetra's
-3 albino cory's
-1pitbul pleco
-platies

i wan't numerous platy's, how many can i add to this 25 gallon stock w/o overstocking???????
