Stocking 37 Gallon help!

barb: yes angels do eat smaller tetra's. mines the reason i aboned small fish in my 35 gal. u can pick 1 or the other but not both. in my tank there is

1blue ram
1 DG
6 platys
1 sailfin molly(gettin rid of him hes a violent one!)
4 bronze cories
so u could base it around what darkangel is doing
darkangel: ur pleco wont be starved if u have cories many people do it. just feed them a few algae wafers to do the trick. oh ya ull need a wood supply for the clown plecs need wood in there diet

I was actually at the LFS this morning, and I plan to go back and buy a 37g glass tank myself. I was just going to ask some of the very same questions as the OP, but it would be easier to just jump in here, I hope that is okay.
I was also considering an angelfish, but read that they will eventually eat smaller tetras? Is that true? I really do want a school of tetras. In fact, I'd like two if possible. Maybe the neon tetras, and x-ray tetras? Would that work, or is it bad to have two types of schooling fish? I'll also have an albino bn pleco in the tank. And I was considering a dwarf gourami or two as well, would just one be happy alone? Would he get along with the angel? And lastly, would there be room for another few fish, such as platies or mollies?
That's all for this thread, I'll start another one with more questions another day, I don't want to hog it. Thank you for letting me jump in, DarkAngel.
I don't mind at all- because frankly you pretty much have the SAME idea as me! I like gourami's, angels (it's just a coincidence that my username is that...), rams, etc. I also would like two schools of fish (including my danios) and have a pleco. So please, DO jump in because it helps me out! :thm:
Yeah I've got algae wafers for Mr. Plec and driftwood soaking in an extra tank- it's going on one week so I hope it will be done soon...
My 10 gallon is up and running and it now holds a clown pleco and 4 zebra danios. I have my 37 gallon cycling and the second it's done the plec and danios are going in!
He's about an inch and a half right now, and I'm planning to get 2-4 more danios once I get the 37.
