Hi!

I am planning on getting a 55 gallon tank soon thats about 4' long. I really like crayfish so am thinking a Semi Aggressive tank.

Some ideas I like- Sunfish, Perch, and Bala Sharks. I also like catfish. Would any of these fish get along with crayfish? And could they be housed in a 55 gallon?

If possible I'd like to keep only fish that live at around room temperature. (The 70s).

Any more ideas for Crayfish/Lobster companions?

Thanks,

Alex

You could do one or two of most sunfish species available (or more if you get some of the smaller species). Crays don't make good fish tankmates though as they get eaten by big fish and can eat smaller fish

Zebras and white-clouds can live at room temp and are surface fish--so will stay away from the crays.

Everywhere I've seen says 14" max (Drs Foster and Smith notably).....

And I was thinking Yellow Perch and Pumpkinseed Sunfish
