I currently have a 12 gallon aqua pod and I love it. I am looking into upgrading it to a 24 gallon system. I currently have 1 maroon clown 1 fire fish and a cleaner shrimp. What other types of fish could go into the tank if I were to upgrade to the larger tank. Or what would be the perfect stocking idea for a 24 gallon tank. Thanks for your help.

You could have a pair of maroon clowns in there then you would be pretty well maxed out as maroons can get pretty big. Otherwise I would suggest a small gobie such as a citron or maybe a small fairy wrasse. The maroon really limits what else you can put in there.

Im I wrong but dont the clowns need to be a matched pair before they will get a long. I would love to have 2 of them but I didnt think I could do that. I am also wandering if I can add things like sea stars and other things like that.

If you have an existing maroon and want to pair it, you need to get the smallest, youngest one you can go to with it.

With maroons, there is still a pretty good chance they still won't get along. It's a gamble, one probably not worth taking in a 24g.

You could maybe put one star in there, but only after it has been established for awhile, it could starve fairly quickly in a 24.
