What are my options for stocking a 29 gallon with a tropical theme?

Im probably going to use a white sand, bright fake corals etc...

So i need some bright fish. I was thinking of some assorted chichlids. Can the different breeds or whatever be mixed? Also, i heard their very aggresive so can i have different fish in there with them?

Also where can i get some white sand thats OK for fish?

I should have mentioned that I have flourish substrate underneatht he sand, that is why there are the little pieces of rock that have come through, but if you are going with fake plants you don't need to worry about that.

Tha sand is a very light tan.

If you want something a little more "sand" colored (matches so well with small rocks and pea gravel) and slightly more coarse (it won't clog your filter!) go to Home Depot or Lowe's and buy Quikrete medium sand. It's basically just ground silica. Not only is it cheap, but it's prewashed, and kiln-dried so you don't even need to rinse it.

This is what it looks like in my 5.5g betta haven:
