I decided to get rid of all of my fish in fear that they would outgrow my tank(2 Firemouths,1 Convict,1 Sevrum). So my question is what are suitable fish for my 30 gallon tank?
Thanks

You seem to like cichlids, how about some of the smaller varities? Kribs are really neat. Some mbunas are a great choice as well.

Well....since you like Cichlids, you could could perhaps try some Dwarf Cichlids (Kribensis, Nudiceps, Apistogrammas, or Rams). Go for a single breeding pair of one species or get 2-3 individuals of different species. I'd opt for a single breeding pair with a small school of tetras or peaceful barbs and maybe some cory cats or otos.
Another idea would be to set up a small african lake cichlid tank if you are familiar with keeping them.

how bout' this
2 GERMAN BLUE RAMS
2 KRIBS
1 DWARF GOURAMI
8 TIGER BARBS
1 CLOWN PLECO

The rams and kribs are likely to have turf wars, plus I think they have slightly different water requirements if you get serious about breeding.
