I have a 55 gallon aquarium that is currently housing 4 juvenile angelfish, 5 platies, and 6 glofish danios. I have seen in the past few days that the angelfish are becoming more aggressive towards each other, the platies, and glofish danios. I am planning to relocate my platies and glofish to my 20 gallon neon tetra aquarium. What fish can I put in the 55 gallon with my 4 juvenile angelfish without being in danger?

I keep my angels with tetras with no problems. I have also kept them with platys with no problems.

In my tank, one platy died last month being attacked by the biggest angelfish. Two neon tetras also died being attacked also. Instead of cory cats, platys, and tetras, what are fish the same size of the angelfish that can be with the angelfish?

You want strong, hardy schoolers if a schooling type is desired. Lots of bigger tetras that can withstand any angels. Also, those danios might bug everyone in a 20g. Danios are notoriously active fish, and like to annoy everyone else to the point of stressing other tank inhabitants literally to death.

Are those fishes really small? The angels maybe trying to eat them.
There are lots of "Bigger" tetras that will go well with Angels--Diamond, Black Phantoms, Lemon, Candy Cane, Pristella, ect.)

I might go for tetras (especially black phantom or serpae tetras) around 6 or 8 with the 4 angels. But according to aqadvisor, tetras might fin nip the angelfish. Is this true?

Fin Nippers
Serpae=Probably
Black Phantoms=No.
