I'm looking to stock my Eclipse 12. I currently have 2 zebra danios (planning to get more for their company). I just lost my beloved 7 year old cory, and now my tank is looking kind of empty. Any suggestions for community tank?

I have rosy barbs in with some danios in one tank. You might get away with one dwarf gourami.

well I had a 29 gal and i downsized cus i only had 3 fish. They are kinda the last of the 3 to die.... the cory died today. So now I'm just trying to get new fish.

Sorry to hear you lost your buddy after so many years. I have 6 zebras with 4 corys in a 10g and they are thriving (and growing fast). I think JM1212 is right though that the danios would be better living in a tank with more swim space and in a shoal of maybe 8 or more. I will transfer mine to a larger tank eventually, then increase shoal size substantially; I love their high activity level! Makes me feel old and slow, though. :(

Should add that - as you already know - zebras are really tough cookies, so if you can't put more zebras in your tank, makes you wonder what you COULD put in there. Depending on other factors like filtration, plants and water changes, you could add 2-4 zebras and put in a couple of dwarf corys, or maybe 4 dwarf corys and 2 more zebras? Personally, I'd put even more in there of each breed, but heck, I don't want to get my wrists slapped around here for giving dodgy advice! LOL!
