Stocking Emerald Brochis

Aw, they look so cute...What are the dimensions of a 39g bowfront? I tried to google but didn't get a size. With bottom feeders it's all about floor space & surface area vs body mass..I think you did right adding a couple more. What else did you add?

Nice tank and set up. The fish look really nice too.

I read on here that one to two weeks should be good for leak check. Hopefully no leak partway into the cycle...

Have fun with the new fishes and tank. Peaceful stuff this hobby.

I have info for you......Good news, and bad news.
Bad news---Those are no Brochis. They are Corys. Corydoras Aeneus to be exact.
Good News---They are smaller then Brochis, so they fit better in your tank.

Wow...just wow. After counting the dorsal rays I think you are right, they are not B.Splenden. I hope the 2 new ones are also C.aeneus...i kind of just blindly trusted petco that they where Brochis. Oh well...atleast they won't get as big. And as for the other fish I added 2 gold white cloud minnow to my school bumping it up to 8. Also added a dwarf neon gourami.

All 5 are Cory Aeneus. The 2 "new" ones are just smaller.

Thanks a lot tanker, I should have caught that earlier. The good news is all the corys seem happy. Some of the new fish I got are tiny, I'm assuming just young. They make my other fish look big.
