tank dimensions are 36"x12"x18" looking for all and any options and i'll pick the best ones i have play sand as substraight and a aquaclear 300 filter and heater is a aquaclear 30

im open to anything that will fit in it suggestions including aggressive fish even if its a singleton or a community im open to anything i look forward to hearing suggestions

I've got another 37 that's a community with neon's harlequin's and cory's on the bottom as well as rcs and betta's.
I was looking for more exotic species or hard to breed ones or something i've got a 20 gallon high with 4 german blue rams till i get a pair and ive got a 10 gallon with a dwarf puffer, a betta, rcs, malaysian rainbow shirimp and orange tiger's so anything that'd be different i'd be intertested.
I just need a list to take to my local pet store to see what they can get.
Im not into african cichlids as ive bread them before and sold off all the stock didnt like them lol and i dont like angels because there fins just a pet peave of mine lol but im open to anything else pretty much

Since you're doing sand, you could do a peacock eel (macrognathus siamensis), with a few glass cats up top for an oddball tank.

Or, you could do a school of threadfin rainbows with a few kuhlis or shrimp on the bottom.

back to my suggestion because angels are awesome! haha you can get some sweet colors from a breeder. they are pricier but way worth it.

-Pair of angels
-school of something (rummynose tetras, cardinals, black phantom tetras, lemon tetras, emperor tetras)
-BN pleco

i would go with emperor tetras IMO
