I checked out the stocking lists that were in the article corner, and ghost shrimp were prominently figured. They looked kinda cool, and

:confused:Now I see posts about how they get eaten real easy by most any fish.

I was planning on keeping (29G)
3 danios, 6 fancy male guppies, 10-12 cardinals, 6-9 harlequins, 6-12 ghost shrimp
will the shrimp make it with those companions or do I need to look at cory cats?

Unless the danios are giant danios, you'll be fine.

Yup, I have ghost shrimp with fish. They are larger than cherry shrimp and are usually not eaten by small fish.

I have 2 ghosties in with my dwarf gourami and bronze cory at work. The gourami picks on EVERYBODY but the shrimp.....go figure.

They are cheap here too - 25c.
But I don't want to be making 4 trips a week to the LFS.:D

what is the impact of a ghost shrimp - i.e. how many "gallons", if any, should I allocate to 1/2 doz

British invasion again!

Anybody from Uk know where to get cheap Ghost Shrimp - 25c - WOW - my local Pets at Home (PetSmart equicvalent) is the only place stocking them at £3.99 - thats about $7 each!!!!

The LFS was out of stock of 'em - did you send someone over to buy them ALL??? HUH? HUH? :D

I have no idea if these ghosts are really ghosts, or something else mislabelled.... I haven't actually seen any!!
