I have a 29gal. that currently has 5 zebra danios, 3 harlequin rasboras, 1 oto, 2 MTS (I think that's all), and a mystery snail. My tank is finally cycled and I can't decide what or how much to put in it. I'm interested in a peaceful community and have been looking at glowlight tetras, head and tail light tetras and black phantom tetras. The only thing I'm sure of is I want to get at least one more oto. Please help me make up my mind!!!!!

TIA

First off, your tank will be cycled to its current inhabitants. So each new fish will create a new cycle. So add any new fish a few at a time and then wait at least a week before adding any more. Do a test 24 hours after a water change and if there is no ammonia it will be time to add more fish.

I would look at cory catfish. That will put some fish on the bottom and they are very peaceful. A total of 5-6 would be good. Then I would add to the current schools you already have. You will find that bigger schools makes for much better fish. Theyw ill be more secure and display better colours and more natural habbits. Add at least 3-4 more harlequins. Adding a differnt school of fish could actually end up giving you a very muddled looking tank as the schools start to mix together. The zebras and harlequin's are quick different in attitude and should stay separated very well.
