Stocking Help

The gouramis WILL fight if they are two males. Even with a male female pair you have NO guarantee they won't duke it out to the point of serious injury or even death. I have SEEN them do it...er, try to before being separated and sent to separate corners.. er, tanks. Trust me, don't do it.

Are these ok for a 25 gallon tank...

Blue Dwarf Gourami x 1
Threadfin Rainbows x 8
Zebra Snail x 1
Panda Cory x 3

So am I lucky because I have

2 kissing
2 Blue Dwarf
2 Neon i think they are called

in a 155 gallon tank no fights yet or deaths but there are lots of places to hide
be careful with the kissing gouramis and the dwarf gouramis... one the kissing gouramis realize they are bigger than the dwarves, the dwarves wonth be around for long.

kissing gouramis are awsome fish when they are bigger though, and they live a really long time. the people down the street have one that is older than i am :D

It might be ok, but the deciding factor will be the gourami. If it behaves well, you should have a nice little community for your tank. I would also bump the panda cories up to six.

I've asked the place where I've seen them selling Dwarf Gourami's as pairs and they said most shops do this and they're female and male pairs. Is this ok?

You need to match the Ph levels.Looks like the Threadfins need soft water 5.8-6.5. and that can be tricky.Tap water will not work. You could put a pair of Dwarf Gourami.19 inches tall is ideal the male will stay near the top. They will spawn but the eggs may all get eaten.Any Pleco that stays under 4 inches will be okay (Note Candy stripe ph 6.5-7.5) but then don`t go with 25 inches for 25g .stay around 15 inches of fish.
